ABOUT DR LOUIS BOTHA
Dr Louis Botha matriculated from Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch and went on to complete his B.Ch.D. at the University of Stellenbosch in 2002. His medical community service was then performed with the South African National Defence Force sick bay in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, and at 2 Military Hospital in Wynburg, Cape Town.
In 2007, Dr Botha then completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Dentistry (implantology) at the University of the Western Cape. He also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Implantology from the University of Pretoria and is a member of:
International Team of Implantology (ITI)
South African Academy of Aethetic Dentistry (SAAAD)
South African Dental Association (SADA)
Health Professions Council of South Africa
Having worked in private practice for ten years in Noordhoek, Dr Botha has relocated his practice to Somerset West where he offers a range of services including family dentistry. His practice has a permanent oral hygienist, and Ceramident dental laboratory in the same building.
He has a particular interest in cosmetic and advanced restorative dentistry as well as implant surgery and implant prosthetics. Frequently attending implant and cosmetic dental courses, he keeps up to date with the latest innovations in dental technology.
